I know he resides within me
The force that makes my head spin,
My heart skip a beat, my stomach flip over.
The darkness of it frightens me.
He terrorises me every day,
If only he would go away.
His force is too strong, and so,
I'm left stranded surrounded by him.
The cold chill down my spine,
The numbness of my brain.
To him it’s all in a days work.
Letting me suffer through the strain.
How can I conquer him when
He determines my actions?
Slowly he seals me inside myself
Until one day, lost forever I shall be.
